New! VR Immersion Lab

What is a VR Immersion Lab?
Virtual Reality or VR technology works through a headset that provides a 3D video in 360 degrees. In a live education course, VR labs will allow individuals to watch a procedure through a provided headset putting every individual right next to the performing physician. The headset provides a full 360-degree video of the operating room, allowing viewers to look where they want, when they want.

What will I experience at the course?
During the afternoon hands-on learning session of the Sclerotherapy Course, you will be divided into groups and will rotate through different stations, including the VR Immersion Lab.

In the VR Immersion Lab, virtual reality headsets and headphones will be distributed to you. With the headset on, you will find yourself alongside Dr. Margaret Mann in her operating room. Dr. Mann will guide you through a series of procedures on a patient. In total, the experience will last about 20 minutes.
