The Nursing Section decided to create this Core Curriculum textbook that establishes patient care standards for phlebology. This manual is written in an outline format, for easy reference. Nursing Intervention Classifications (NIC's) are located in Appendix A and can be used for each patient's indvidual nursing care plan. In addition, we have included a "Professional Issues" section,important for nurse managers.
