ACP Headlines

July 1, 2008, marks another page in the history of the American College of Phlebology as the College announces a new identity, website, and tagline. The new look heralds a new era in the advancement of vein care and reflects the growth and progress of the College since its inception twenty-three years ago. “With membership growth increasing an average of 15% over the past five years, increased awareness within the medical community by both the AMA and the AOA, and improved awareness of venous disorders among the general public, we felt it was time that our image reflected the progressive nature of our organization,” commented Bruce Sanders, Executive Director of the ACP. “We are no longer the fourteen member society that we were in 1985. Today, we have nearly 2000 members who are leaving their marks on the field of phlebology everyday.”

ACP Foundation

American College of PhlebologyIn conjunction with the College’s new identity, the ACPF logo will also take a new shape. The logo is a more abstract depiction of the circulatory system and represents the cross-over between the corporate supporters and the ACP members that is so essential to the future of phlebology.

ACP Website Gets a Facelift
