Physician-in-Training Scholarship

Through funding provided by the ACP Foundation, the ACP is offering up to twenty scholarships to residents, fellows and junior faculty members. The award will cover a reduced Congress Registration, and help defer the cost of air, hotel, food and other meeting expenses. This scholarship provides a great opportunity for physicians to learn about venous disease and vein treatment. When approved, scholars will receive a check at the Annual Congress. All scholars will be responsible for making (and paying in advance for) their travel and hotel accommodations.

The scholarship includes a one-year “Member-in-Training” option that allows scholarship recipients to continue to receive exposure to phlebology after the Congress.

Eligible candidates include residents in ACGME-approved or AOA-approved residency programs, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty members in the first two years of appointment. Preference will be given to those applicants submitting an abstract to the Annual Congress.

The application deadline is July 6, 2017.

Travel Scholarship for International Applicants

The $2,500 award can be used to defray the cost of travel, accommodations and registration costs. Both international members and non-members are eligible for the scholarship.

Preference will be given to those applicants submitting an abstract to the Annual Congress.
